In 1987 the Arizona Dept of Public Safety and the Marana Police Dept investigated a “Jane Doe” homicide in which the victim had been shot several times.  The victim was found in a drainage ditch along Interstate 10.  Due to the condition of the body law enforcement was not able to identify this young women.  To this day this woman has never been identified.

In 2010 the body was exhumed from her grave and more modern forensic tests were conducted, including DNA and a facial reconstruction.
