Town Clerk
Office of the Town Clerk
The Town Clerk is appointed by the Town Manager and supports the Council by preparing meeting agendas and recording the official minutes of all Council actions. The Clerk has the responsibility for overseeing Town elections and providing election information to citizens and maintaining current and archival public records. Council Meetings
Regular meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Marana Municipal Complex. Study sessions and special meetings may be called at the direction of the Mayor and Council.
Call to the Public
Anyone wishing to address the Council at a regular or special meeting must complete a speaker card located in the lobby just outside the doors to the Council Chambers and give it to the Clerk prior to the start of the meeting. You will have three minutes to address the Council regarding your issue. However, no Council action can be taken at that time. Please read the Town's
Administrative Directive regarding Use of Electronic Equipment by the public.
Placing an Item on a Council Agenda
Any request to have an item on the Council agenda must be in writing, sent to the attention of the Town Clerk. All requests will be considered at a weekly agenda development meeting, and you will be notified by the Town Clerk of the status of your request
