Road Construction
Short Term
Santa Cruz Shared Use Path
The Town of Marana will be working with Southern Arizona Paving to improve the Santa Cruz Shared Use path between Cortaro Road and Coyote Trail School.
Work will include new asphalt and concrete pathways, concrete stairs/ramps, pedestrian bridge installations, grading, signage, safety railings, and striping.
For your safety and that of the contractor, please follow construction traffic control devices, flag personnel and/or detour signs.
If weather or other schedule issues delay the project, the work may be rescheduled without further notice.
Long Term
Tangerine Road Corridor: I-10 to La Cañada Drive

Tangerine Road is a critical regional transportation corridor that serves the northwest portion of the region, linking the towns of Marana and Oro Valley and Pima County.
The Tangerine Road Corridor Project extends approximately 10 miles from Interstate 10 to La Cañada Drive and is part of the voter-approved Regional Transportation Authority plan. This project will improve safety, access and circulation in the region.
The Town of Marana, Pima County and the Town of Oro Valley each share a portion of this critical transportation corridor and will be working together to design and construct the corridor improvements. The Town of Marana will act as the lead agency.
